Lucky me

Guess who I get to see on October 30th?

David Sedaris is the best. I once laughed so hard when I was reading an essay of his in The New Yorker that I was hooting. On an airplane. The woman next to me and the people across the aisle kept glancing over at me and I was truly helpless with laughter.

We all need this, especially in the world today. Especially now.

I love your beautiful prose and your texts normally just remind me of the many reasons I have to be grateful instead of weeping and missing my late husband. But this was great, my neighbours will be confirmed in the idea that that mad foreigner-woman really is mad, this did make me laugh, thank you so much.

He is one of the very few authors who can make me laugh until I cry.
