Any others out there?

I am so excited that I cannot wait! Walking Dead comes back tonight! Daryl is my hands down favorite because he reminds me of my bad ass partner, Bing. She is like a very educated Daryl. I was bragging on her last week to my co-workers and said that if there was a zombie apocalypse, I would want to be in her group sooo bad because she would just kick ass. One co-worker announced that when she was in her dating phase she never once considered that as a deal breaker: able to kick ass if zombies take over the world. I told her to find her way to our crib when it happens because with Bing in our group, we are surviving.

Anybody else out there a Dead fan?

Bing actually made pumpkin bars for us to snarf while we watch. Yes, we are THAT anesthetized that we actually eat food as we watch. It took 2 seasons for me to achieve that rank.

I will be a coach potato for the next few months. I've come back to American Idol, hoping that a new Lee DeWyze will emerge. For now, I am just happy staring at Harry Connick, Jr.

And later in the month, here come those Vikings again. I have a huge crush on this particular Viking:

And, I have to watch The Voice just to drool over the ENTIRE foursome.

And last, but not least....The Americans

So...I may not emerge again until Summer....

What is/are your poison(s) on television? Or are you too refined and just read the classics?

I haven't delved into any of these shows. I'm happy for you that they're returning and the joy they bring with them. :-)

I watch some TV. Blue Bloods is my favorite right now and Homeland, waiting for a new season still. I love Modern Family, especially Cam. I would love to be Cam.

I was just glued to the Beatle tribute on CBS. The cover versions were all great, and the performances by Ringo and Paul were rollicking. I thought they might have given more dues to John though.

I'll read anything, save romances, but we don't own a telly, so...

I have, however, come up with the perfect plan to survive the zombie apocalypse: run out and get a telly and switch it to Fox News. If zombies are looking for brain's they'll totally give us a miss. =D

I don't have a telly and rely on the internet and DVDs to get my fix (and there's still far too much of it). I have to admit that I watched the first episode of Walking Dead last year sometime and just couldn't get into it. Strange really, since I do like apocalyptic stuff and I always loved Andrew Lincoln. Doesn't matter though - maybe I'll try it again sometime and it'll just catch me and then I'll be able to watch loads and loads without having to wait for new episodes. :)
I've just finished watching all seven seasons of the Gilmore girls. Used to love it when it first came out but wasn't always able to watch it and it was just exactly the kind of feel-good happy endings vibe I need at the moment. Too much Dexter and Breaking Bad over the last few years, perhaps. I had a really strange dream about you last night actually - it turned out that where Rory Gilmore and her friend lived when they were in college was actually your front room. I was visiting them and bumped into Liv and Tinton and somehow recognised them, freaked them out by telling them I knew them and they wouldn't let me leave (in the sense of let's lock this madwoman up) until you came along and I was able to convince you that we knew each other online. Your real name was Christina and Bing (real name Susan) was there too. You both had a fondness for twin sets and pearls and didn't live in the US, you lived in some weird small dictatorship in Eastern Europe/Asia. I found out Tinton and Liv's real names too but don't remember them now, Tinton had an Irish accent though and then a huge digger type thing that was spreading tarmac over the dip that your house was in toppled over and blocked all the light out and when I was leaving for the airport you gave me a present and Bing insisted that she and I race the last few hundred metres there. It was all very weird and oddly specific - I think it was a bit of a mix-up of some of the series I've been watching recently and too much sleep over the last few days though, so I'm not going to waste any time trying to analyse it. I'm having a lot of dreams recently that I remember quite well and seem really real - the other day I'd been dreaming that I was having blackouts because of heavy drinking and woke up actually feeling like I needed to go and check myself into rehab (I have a drink maybe once or twice a month, and sometimes none at all for months on end). I think I prefer dreams that I can't remember when I wake up.

Agree Walking Dead. Love it and love Daryl. I also love Revenge and Nashville. Plus of course Greys. In between trashy TV I do of course read the classics.
