We finally did it. Bought our new ride. And it was WAY too long coming. Plus...alas!....I won't be the major driver. Yep. That's right. We traded in Bing's cargo van for it.
Bing was having a lot of pain when she swung up into the van every day, so it was decided that instead of trading in my
stinkin' old vehicle (2002!), we would trade in the van. So, the plan is that we take turns, but to be honest...don't know that I'll drive it much. My car isn't comfortable for Bing to drive much either. I have called dibs on it when it is snowy, though, since it does have 4 wheel drive and mine is rear wheel (and if you've ever driven in a blizzard with rear wheel drive, you can feel my pain, dudes...)
So....it's an arctic blue zoom zoomer with a moon roof and a ton of doohickeys.
I did joke with Bing that it's too bad it took a bad back to push her in the right direction.
Zoom...Zoom.

my wife refuses to let go of her 1998 VW Cabrio. um yeah...its from the nineties.

Awesome! Four wheel drive is awesome. I love it. In the snow, it's amazing.
Congratulations on the new car! Okay, 2002 really isn't that bad. My car is a 1999, and I'm afraid it will be a sad day when it must be traded in, which I'm hoping won't be for a very long time.
The Zoom Zooms are pretty tough too. My first car was a Zoom Zoom. It was passed on to my sister and survived almost two years with her, which is like 20 years of being driven by a normal person.

Delighted about the new wheels, sounds like they were much needed, though I wish it could have been your turn, I remember you struggling with that broken door! Maybe next? Or will it be Liv's turn by then?! (Not that far away you know! :-)
I drive a Subaru (on my 3rd) and don't know how I lived without AWD. I know that I'll never live without it again, as long as I live where it snows.

we are a zoom zoom fam. i just got a new zoom zoom in April and I love that car more than anyone should, and we kept our old MPV because I just couldn't bear to trade it in for what they'd give us :-)
