I don't ask for much. Can you just do this one thing for me?

Watch this video. It will take a little over 3 minutes of your time. Maybe you won't cry like my daughter and I did when we watched this together, but maybe it will make you think. The truth is that I am probably preaching to the choir here since most of my readers are incredibly open minded, good hearted people...but for those of you on the fence...please. Just watch this.

Opinions?

Wow. Awesome! I would be incredibly proud to have raised that fine young man, and to have him in my family. If only all people were taught the values his parents instilled in him, and were loved as much as he clearly has been all his life.

Oh my hell. What an incredible speech. I'm having a hard time believing this kid is only 19! So eloquent, so moving, so brilliant! He'll make a fine politician one day. :)

I don't understand why people have such a problem with homosexuality. Love is love, regardless. I grew up with a gay auntie and never gave it a second thought.

I saw this the other day and immediately posted it to my Facebook feed for others to watch. I admire this young man and hope his speech will help others to see that a strong, happy, successful family has nothing to do with the sexual orientation of the parents.

Some friends shared this video on Facebook which is where I first saw it. What an incredibly mature, intelligent and awe-inspiring young man! I loved it and shared it also.
